Answer
Hello Kesha. Yes, all is well, these sharp pains are quite common- they are ligaments "complaining loudly" about being stretched. You will NOT have felt movement that early- it was gas. Your baby is not big enough or strong enough to make it's movements felt yet. It IS moving of course, but not until at least 18-22 weeks will it be big enough to make a move strong enough to be picked up by your abdominal muscles. Your uterus has no nerve endings to feel the movements- only when baby is strong enough to kick hard enough to impact on your abdominal muscles will you feel it. As long as you don't have any vaginal bleeding along with cramping- you are fine. All the best- Cheri.
