Yellow Vaginal Discharge: Causes, Symptoms & When to See a Doctor
QuestionI have been having a yellowish discharge from my vagina. Though there is no chronic ithching or foul odor. Could this be an STD? What are other reasons one could have yellowish discarge. I don't have to pee frequently, I am not itchy, no burning sensation while urinating. Is it possible it is the clap? or gonerra? or could it be something else?
AnswerA yellow discharge from the vagina may be compeltely normal, or it may be due to a bacterial vaginosis. I doubt that you have gonnorrhea because there is no itching. Usually a bacterial infection has a foul smelling discharge, but not always. If the discharge persists, go to your gynecologist and have it cultured. It can then be easily be treated.
