QuestionI am 22, I have 2 children, LMP 6/18/05. I have not had a period since that date, I have taken a htp it came back positive, but when my obgyn did there blood test it came back at 2, I still have no period, my breasts are very sore and tender, I have had nausae and I am very tired all the time. I have had very very light spotting(only when I wipe) could there tests be wrong? I have never gone this long without a period. Any help would be great. Thanks in advance.

AnswerEither test could be incorrect. I would repeat a blood test for Beta HCG. If the test results show a value of less than 5, you are not pregnant. If you had some spotting, and the test is less than 5, you may have miscarried. If your last period started on June 18, you should now be 9 weeks pregnant. A sonogram will show if there is any feturs present in the uterus. If the sonogram shows an empty uterus along with an HCG value of less than 5, you are definitely not pregnant. If that is the case, your doctor should induce your period for you using Provera 10mg twice a day for 5 days and you should get your period within 10 days.
