Prometrium and Pregnancy: Understanding Effects & Period Return

I have taken clomid on days 5-9, estrogen on days 10-14, and started prometrium on day 18 until now, day 30.  I have not had a period, and the hpt was negative.  If i stop the prometrium, would it cause a period and possibly end a pregnancy if the home test was wrong?

Prometrium is given usually due to a lower progesterone level. It helps improved the level of progesterone that is necessary for conception or to maintain a pregnancy if you have conceived. Stopping the Prometrium will not cause you to have a period or terminate a pregnancy. If you are pregnant, you should continue the prometrium until 12 weeks gestational age (from the first day of your last period). It does no harm either way.
