QuestionHello,
I was messing around with my bf the other time and I gave him a handjob. and he was doing it himself at the same time and he had precum on his hands. However, he did not ejaculate at all and when he does, he would not touch my private regions. The thing is, he rubbed my private regions but the hand/ fingers didn't went into my vagina.
Could I get pregnant cos of that?
My last period is on the 13th of dec. and these incident happened around 29th Dec - 5th Dec which is suppposed to be the ovulation period. My period is supposed to be on the 13th of Jan. My period has always been regular and it has been late!
I ran a test a few days after I missed my period on the 16th of Jan (at around late evening) and another on the 22nd of Jan (the first urine of the day) both results are negative.
I'm very worried as my period isn't here yet!
Hope that you can advice me.
Thanks
AnswerDear Jean,
If your partner had wet pre-ejaculate on his hands while he had that hand in, on, or around your vagina or vaginal opening, you cannot dismiss the possibility of conception. Now - the potential for conception would obviously be much lower than if actual unprotected intercourse had taken place with ejaculation. But pre-ejaculate can contain sperm cells and when placed near or in the vagina, the potential is there for sperm cells to find their way to where they need to go.
HOWEVER... because the chances are fairly low and you have already had two negative pregnancy tests, you do need to know there can be other causes for missed periods. There are many various causes for amenorrhea (absence of periods) - pregnancy being just one. Others can be:
-Hormonal imbalances, which cause fluctuating levels of the hormones needed to support menstruation
-Emotional or physical stress / Depression
-Rapid weight loss or gain
-Change in diet
-Low body weight
-Obesity
-Frequent or strenuous exercise
-Cysts or tumors in the ovaries
-Thyroid or Pituitary dysfunction
-Certain medications or drug use
-Menopause OR Premature ovarian failure (menopause before age 40)
-Occasionally stopping birth control pills
I would suggest that you repeat the pregnancy test if you do not have a period in the next 7-10 days. Make sure you are using first morning urine for the most accurate results. If negative, the general recommendation is that if you miss three consecutive periods and pregnancy is not the reason, you should see your doctor so that a cause can be determined. More than likely your doctor will do a quantitative blood pregnancy test (serum beta hCG), which is more conclusive than a urine test, to make sure that pregnancy is ruled out as an option.
I hope this has helped you and answered your question. I wish you well.
