Answer
Usually, the earliest symptoms of pregnancy are breast tenderness, fatigue, and nausea. However, if you have a history of asthma, you may have some effects of the asthma. During pregnancy, there is improvement in asthma in 25% of patients, worsening of asthma in 25% of patients, and no change in 50% of patients. If you feel tight in your chest, I would suggest that you go to your pulmonologist or to the ER of the nearest hospital and you can get a treatment. Sometimes, we have to use steroids during pregnancy to control the asthma. Heartburn can stoart at any time durng prenancy. Try Mylanta, Maalox, or Tums to alleviate it. They are all safe for use during pregnancy.
