im 31 and have 2 children i wrote before and recived a very quick responce thanking you so much for that. u said that you were unsure of the date of my last period the first day was the 15th of jan and it lasted for 3-4days. also i forgot to add that the night be4 we also had a misshap with the condom. how will i know that i have ovalated? and what is also better to use spermacide or contraceptive cream which is what my doctor as prescribed for me.
i would also like to add that be4 i had the marina removed my periods didnot stop. and were no diffrent to not having it in does this make a diffrence please help me as ur advise for others has been so good thanks

Usually, if you have a 28 day cycle (from the first day of your period until the first day of your next period) ovulation occurs on cycle day #14. If your last period started on January 15 (even if the bleeding was due to the removal of the IUD), you would not have ovulated right away and probably did not ovulate until January 28. (It does not matter how many days your period lasts, so always keep a record of the first day of each period).  Contraceptive cream contains a spermacide (Nonoxynol-9). HOwever, if you want to conceive, do not use any spermacidal agent. I doubt that you could have  oonceived (even if there was a misshap with the condom) on the day before you started bleeding. However, if you have not gotten another period by March 1, I would suggest that you take a pregnancy test, just to be sure.
