hi my girlfriend is expecting her first child on august 6th we are keeping a diary n all that but could you help us with when our child was concieved i told her end of october am i right.but she is the boss she told me to ask you.

When was the first day of her last period? If they gave her a due date of August 6, then she probably started her last period on October 31, and would have ovulated around November 13. She would have conceived if she had unprotected sex on November 12,13,14, or 15. The formula is to add seven days to the first day of her last period and subtract 3 months. (for the due date), and add 14 days from the first day of your period (for the day of ovulation). You can conceive if you have sex one day prior to ovulation and up to 2 days after ovulation.
