Pregnancy Complications: Concerns About Cousin Relationship & Fetal Health

I have just found out I was pregnante and I was adopted and I was going threw my family tree and I found out the guy I have had a relationship with was my 2nd cousin.I ended the relationship and found out I was pregnant  I am worried about
the babies health what kind of advice can you give me?

is he related by blood or by marriage?

Either way I would assume the baby will be fine. YOu can have testing done through the doctors office, there are many blood tests and ultrasounds that the doctors routinely use to screen for genetic defects in the baby.
