Early Pregnancy Cramps: Are They Normal?
QuestionHi! I hope you can help me. I am still waiting to see the doctor as I just found out I was pregnant a couple days ago. I have been experiencing mild menstrual like cramps every day for the past 2 weeks. ( i didn't know i was pregnant ofcourse) but they are still going on. They happen a few times a day and a couple of them hurt a little, but nothing I can't stand. Just small pains. I am about 4 weeks. Is this normal? My husband and I have been trying for 3 years and I am so happy, I just don't want anything to go wrong. Thanks so much, ps there is no bleeding at all.
AnswerHi Lindsay,
First of all, congratulations!! This is such an exciting time for you. Cramping in early pregnancy is completely normal, as long as it isn't accompanied by bleeding. Your uterus is growing and expanding causing the cramping to occur. Sounds like everything is going great so far! Good luck!
