Amniotic Fluid Leakage at 7 Weeks Pregnant: What to Do?

For the last couple of mornings i have been waking up to wet underwear. i am  7 weeks and 2 days pregnant. How will i know if i'm leaking amniotic fluid or if it's just a discharge. i can't remember this happening with my previous two pregnancies. Shouls i be worried because my doctor's appt is not until the 29th of april. i was also in a really bad car accident on easter and when i went to the hospital that examined me with the vaginal probe and said everything look fine. I just need some advice.

Hello Monique. This is likely just discharge, but put on a pad when you go to bed and take that pad into the dr's office in the morning and ask for it to be tested for amniotic fluid- the nurse can do it instantly and you don't need to bother the dr. Hope that helps- Cheri.
