Irregular Periods After Abortion & Potential Pregnancy - Expert Advice

I had an abortion on Spetember the 14th And I Still Havent had a period Im worried cause Me and My bf had drunken unprotected sex a couple of weeks ago and again in the morning and Im worried I might be pregnant again Im havent gone back on the pill cause im waiting till I start my periods to start the pack!

Dear Trixy,
It's normal to have irregular periods after an abortion; sometimes it doesn't return to normal for 2-3 months. However, you can get pregnant during this time.
The best thing to do is to get a pregnancy test from the drugstore.  Get the kind with two tests in it.  Do one today.  If it is positive, it could be from the last pregnancy.  Repeat it in one week.  If both are negative, or if the one next week is lighter than the one today, there is nothing to be concerned about.  Maybe by then you will have gotten your period.
