QuestionI am 35 years old and on my fourth pregnancy. I am having butterfly feelings in my stomach. I am only about 4to5wks along. Is this the baby or my body preparing for the baby.

Fetal movement usually doesnt occur roughly until the 4th month. ( As you probably already know )
I am 99.9 % certain that this is not your baby. This is probably more related to gastrointestinal issues. You might have gas bubbles in your intestine, and are noticing it because your uterus is adding a little more pressure on your intestine.
I have heard of this many times, and ofcourse you having 3 other pregnancies and not having this sensation before, it can be alarming.
Well, not all pregnancies are the same, and this is just proof of that.
I had the exact same thing with my first baby, and it was a strange sensation, but I didnt have it at all with my second baby.
