Support & Healing After an Incomplete Abortion - South Africa
QuestionHi Pat,
I'm not sure if you still remember my story.I first wrote to you in January about my incomplete abortion. I'm the woman in South Africa. I was 2 and a half months when I tried to abort by inserting 3 cytotec in my vagina and one orally. Those days I was really emotional and I realised that I had made a mistake. I wanted to say thank you for your encouraging message and words of comfort. I feel less guilty now and worried that my baby was harmed by my stupidity. I'm happy to say that I went to a specialist and he said the baby was fine. I have another appointment with him next month and he will make further tests to see if my baby is ok. I know that noone can guarantee if all will be ok but I still have hope. I will keep you updated as time goes on. Thank you Pat for strengthening me and encouraging me not to go back to the abortionist who wanted me to complete the abortion. Although I still feel guiltu and not sure if my baby will be 100 percent ok I still pray to God and hope that a miracle is going to happen. I learned my lesson that abortion is not good. Thank you
AnswerHello, Tanya,
Yes, I remember you very well. I am so glad to hear your excellent report. I remember you telling me you were from South Africa, and I remember you listing Iceland as your country. :)
You are very welcome. I also hope and pray your baby is fine. If you take good care of yourself and your baby, this will help. It does my heart good to hear that you are praying, and that so far, so good. I look forward to hearing from you in the future, and please send me a picture.
