Questionhay, I'm in 9. week and i have SCH, at last few days i was spotting, old brown with some little ribs?! and for 5-6 spoons dark red blood, is it possible that my sch is gone? next week i have appointment with my ob. this is a picture of my baby and sch on 8.week (Thursday, 05.June) http://img371.imageshack.us/img371/4981/dsc00132tg7.jpg
How dangerous is sch on that spot?
Thank you very much, sorry on my rusty English and greeting from, Osijek, Croatia
AnswerTatjana,
Congratulations on your pregnancy. SCH is very common in early pregnancy, and if found quite often when early ultrasounds are done. Only a follow-up ultrasound will show if the SCH has healed itself. I looked at your ultrasound, and it shows a perfect baby! An SCH located far away from where the baby is attached to the placenta is actually typically safer than those that are closer to where the baby is attached. However, the only real way to know the outcome is to wait and see. I do hope the best for you and I pray that your baby survives the SCH and you have a very happy and healthy pregnancy!
Good luck!
