Pregnancy After a C-Section & Short Interval: Risks & Concerns

i got pregnant jan.1st 2007. i had a c-section september 18th 2007. on dec.28th 2007 i found i am pregnant. my edd is sept.2nd 2008. i am worried about possible complications if any, so if there are known complications in a pregnancy after giving birth only months prior can you let me know?

I have not have any clients with such a short gap between pregnancies.  However, I have not read/heard of any possible complications either.  I am not an OB/GYN doctor; my specialty is prenatal/postpartum wellness and fitness.  Based on my knowledge and experience, you should do just fine.  The mere fact that your body was ready for the next pregnancy is a good indication that you are ready.  As long as you don't have open wounds or unhealed tears you should do well.  I know that in other cultures women do get pregnant right away.  However, I would certainly address this issue to your OB/GYN as soon as possible.  I hope all goes well!
