Hydroxycut & Birth Control: Potential Interactions & Effectiveness

I just started taking the low dose oral contraceptive Microgestin Fe 1/20. I was wondering if the ingredients in the diet supplement Hydroxycut will lower the effectiveness of my pill. I know it won't completely overpower it, but will it really lower it's effectiveness?  Would it be enough that I should use a back-up method? I workout daily and eat well so Im not simply relying on the supplement to lose weight...just to aid the process.

I did a search just now about the relation between birth control and hydroxycut. I did read a couple of stories that said that you should use a back-up method because it will lower the effectiveness of the pill. One had gotten pregnant. Have you done some research on whether hydroxycut is really the way to go with weight loss? Just a side note: I don't recommend the birth control pill or any kind of hormonal method of birth control. I feel that the hormones are generally not healthy for a woman's body and sometimes produce side effects. Just my opinion...
