Bleeding in Early Pregnancy: Causes & What to Do

i am 27 years old. i am pregnant and my fetal age is 3 weeks.So my doctor had asked me to wait for another 4 weeks to see the heart beat. But today i am 5weeks 2 days and  i had a pain in my abdomen and spotted bleeding, i am worried whether it is a miscarriage or other problem. Please do reply me back as i am so much worried about my health.

You may be experiencing threatened abortion. The treatment for this case is complete bed rest, no excercise-nosex-no heavy lifting-no cleaning...etc, together with some drugs to relieve cramps,at least for 3-4 days after stoppage of bleeding and cramps then have a transvaginal scan to confirm the health of your baby. Bed rest gives 50% chance for your baby to survive.
