Postpartum Back Pain & Neck Stiffness After C-Section: Causes & Relief

Am 27 yrs gave birth through c-section....four mnths later i now have this severe backache (third day now) and tight neck muscles. I am on the coil (never ever used a contraceptive in my life) What is wrong with me is the coil affecting me ...am using pain killers and they seem to work wonders but offer relief for like 8 hrs

First, get an evaluation from an MD to rule out any medical problem that might be causing your pain.

If you pain does not have a medical cause, it is probably due to postpartum changes in the alignment of your spine, lack of core strength, and all the lifting and carrying involved in baby care.
