First Trimester Pregnancy Tests & TVS Scan Safety: Expert Advice

hello!

(1)Doctor i would be glad if you could tell me what are the tests that should be done in the first trimester and in how many weeks it should be done? (including the blood tests)

(2)is it harmful for the fetus if we do a TVS scan in the 7th week to check the heart beat?

(3)is it normal to feel some kind of pressure in the vagina in early pregnancy?

Hello

At the current state of knowledge, a TVS scan can be performed at 7th week with no known harms. Once pregnancy is diagnosed, blood hemoglobin level, blood sugar, kidney and liver function tests should be done. Finally it is not normal to have some kind of pressure in the vaginal early in pregnancy. This should be checked for, clinically.
