QuestionI am in my late 40s, my daughter is almost 4 years old, and she is my 4th child. I still look like I am about 6 months pregnant. I have lost a lot of the baby weight and look normal from behind. It's when I turn around that people look at me and make their "pregnant again?" comments. Is there anything I can do about my stomach this late in the game other than surgery?
AnswerYes!
The shape of your abdomen is due to weakness and/or poor functioning of your deepest abdominal muscle, your Transverse Abdominis, or TvA. To flatten your abs, you need to first build adequate strength in the muscle, then second, do exercises that train the muscle to function properly as a stabilizer.

Even though you're not postpartum, these exercises will flatten your abs.
