Questioni had an abortion via pills at the 2nd week into my
pregnancy.there was slight bleeding and spotting and slight
cramps so i assumed it worked.an entire month has passed
since this abortion and i still have naseous feelings and
moodswings...could this mean i am still pregnant?i took a
home pregnancy test and it said positive but i know the
hormones can take a while to leave your body.also i have not
had my period since the abortion.should i be worried?i am
from the caribbean so there are not alot of facilities for
this type of scenerio.
AnswerHello, unsure,
It is entirely possible you are still pregnant. It is unlikely they did any harm to your baby. If so, you need to leave your body alone. These pills are dangerous and can kill you.
While it is true that pregnancy hormones linger, it is also true that you probably wouldn't keep these hormones as long since you weren't very far along to begin with.
You are right there aren't many facilities. However, there is one group that can recommend a good doctor, who can work with you under the circumstances.

You really deserve better than abortion, and there are other choices that will be far safer for you. If you succeed in having an abortion, you will be much more susceptible to breast cancer. This type of cancer kills 1/4 of its victims, and hits a woman while she is still young. This is, provided you survive the abortion. Trying again could well kill you. They can cause a woman to bleed to death, or develop an infection that can kill her within hours. It can also cause a woman's uterus to rupture. It isn't worth it. And do you have the money to pay for medical care if you do develop a complication? Please keep in touch; I will be here for you. Please take care of yourself and stay safe.
