Pregnancy Journey: Ovulation Confirmation & Delayed Period - Seeking Insights

I've been trying to get pregnant starting only about 2 months ago. (I'm a 29 year old female, never been pregnant).I bought the "at home" ovulation kit about that same time. On June 4th I started my period. On june 20th the ovulation test was a 100% positive. We "tried" that night. Now its July 12th, i still didnt get my period which was due around July 6th (i have around a 31-32 day cycle). Two days ago i woke up in the morning and found a nickel sized spot of red blood on my pantyliner. I thought my period had started even though i have had no cramps, no breast tenderness etc.. I put in a tampton and later on that day it came out totally clean, not a trace of even "brownish fluid".  So after that i did some home pregnancy tests, all came back negative including today. I also did ovulation tests since i heard they can predict a pregnancy and there was a faint line up until today which showed a full positive for ovulation. Pregnancy test still negative today, and still no bleeding for my period. My breasts feel almost numb, no discomfort at all. In your opinion can you tell me what you think. I will schedule a dr's appt if my period doesnt come soon which i have a feeling it wont but can you tell me why this can all be happening? I've been regular on my periods for 15 years straight now never missed 1. Thank you.

Hello.  It is posible that the slight bleeding you saw was implantation bleeding and that you may be pregnant, but just implanted later than usual.  I would try another pregnancy test in a few days.  If it still comes up negative and you don't get your period, I would call your ob/gyn so they can do some blood work to see what's going on.  Good luck.
