Ureaplasma in Men: Impact on Fertility and Health

Question
My wife has ureaplasma and I seem to be the one to blame for it. Therefore, I have ureaplasma too. Does it effect my fertility as well as my wife's?
Thank You in advance.

Answer
Hello Roko,

Ureaplasma is not a sexually transmitted disease and, except for infertility, is of no consequence.  It can affect sperm survival and that is the reason why we test for it.
