IVF Transfer & Fibroids: Impact on Pregnancy - Expert Advice

Hi my name is sharon and this is my 2nd ivf treatment; the first one I had very good responses but not successful. This time I was slow to respond but made it through to transfer. During this cycle my RE found a fibroid re- growing; how much will this complicate things

Hello Sharon from the U.S.,

Fibroids have not been shown to influence the pregnancy rates with IVF unless the fibroid is within the endometrial cavity.  I presume that your doctor did a hysteroscopy or hysterosonogram to check for this prior to commencing your IVF cycle.
