QuestionHi Glen,
I am a male of 57 years. Married with 4 children, 2 still dependent.I consider myself very fit & healthy - up to recently. I don't smoke or use unnecessary drugs, social known drinker - 2-3 med.glasses beer weekly, occasionally tot or 2 of Whisky or Brandy.
Work full day, which includeds loading boxes of 5kg to 15kg on & off vans, driving in city centres. Stressfull - yes.
No sports activities, no hobbies, best relax - computor.
Very recently, I have been effected with "light headness" & buzzing to sometimes high pitched sounds coming from inside my ears. Often slightly dizzy and feeling of nausea. Also I go through deep feeling of depression and left emotionally dissappointed in myself, as I tend to be easily distracted and forget important things to do or collect.
I recently also get "pins & needles" in my right hand, noticed as tingles in my fingers and numbness.
NOW! What is happening to me? Why all of a sudden am I going though this phase? Is it just a "change of life" - male menopause or is it not as simple to tell by just one letter?
Sorry to say, but, here where I stay in South Africa our National Health Services is very poor in both experts and medications. The private Medical Specialist are out of reach of the everyday person (financially). That is why I must ask you for your "free" expertise.
I much appriciate your generious time and most wlecomed reply.
Thanks. - Lin
AnswerWhat is happening to me? sounds like an omega 3, vitamin and mineral deficiency if not hypertension. OK?
Why all of a sudden am I going though this phase? Have you changed your diet or source of fresh foods?

As above, and it responds to the following:
1) omega 3 fish oil 2000mg twice a day
2) high potency b complex twice a day
3) magnesium 500mg twice a day
4) calcium with Vit D twice a day
5) a men's multivitamin
