Finger Movement Issues: Seeking Second Opinion - Neurology Advice
QuestionDear doctor,
My father got up in the morning and realised that he cudnt move his fingers (left arm) - though he can feel them.We did an x-ray plus sugar and pressure check - doctors claimed that it is all clear and that he probably didnt sleep correctly thus advicing him to go for physiotherapy. Itz the third day now - he can only move his finger a little. Doctor, do you think we need a second opinion? If yes what tests would you suggest?
AnswerYes, get a 2nd opinion from a neurologist. Ask for nerve conduction tests, MRA of head, and emg. Also ask his doctor if the can take 3000mg of omega 3 fish oil twice a day, 1000mg of vit C twice a day and a high potency B complex twice a day, plus an adult size aspirin daily.
