Birth Control Pill Mishap: What To Do If You Took Pills Backwards

hi cheryl,

i just realized i made a mistake with taking my birth control pills! i have been on them for a year now and ive never done anything like this. i started my pills backwards! so i took my last pill first and going toward the first. im 12 says into the  pack already and i refuse to continue. i woke up to spotting and i know its not time for my period so whats the problem? ive never spotted while on this particular type of pill so im clueless please help me!!
