Blisters on Fingers: Causes, Symptoms & Relief During Menopause

Question
I have three fingers on my right hand that break out in single blisters and clusters of blisters.  The blisters itch and burn and when they pop a clear liquid comes out.  The three fingers turn red, the skin gets thick and flaky and the fingers mildly hurt to bend them.  I only get these blisters when I am not on birth control pills or pregnant, both of which I am not right now and in a stressful situation.  I have just been told that I am in menopause (at 40!)  This seems to be hormone related as the breakouts occur as referenced above with stress.  I am currently using a herpes cream which has done nothing.  No one knows what this is!  Help!
