Questioni have severe hypoglacemia, it is affecting my every day life immensely, I am going to see a doctor soon, but what can I start to do today...It is starting to take over my life. If you dont have info, maybe you can point me in the right direction. thank you .p.s. my wife has a health /nutrition book that describes the symptoms of hypoglycemia and I fit into 10 out of 10 of the catagories with flying colors.
AnswerDear Eran, Unfortunately, there are OTHER medical conditions that can also cause the SAME IDENTICAL symptoms of hypoglycemia and this is why your MUST see your doctor and get properly diagnosed as having hypoglycemia.... Also, you must see the doctor to find out WHY you are having hypoglycemic symptoms... Unlike a hypoglycemic attack in diabetics, people with hypoglycemia most often have a medical problem that is undiagnosed and this is why they are hypoglycemic... Possible undiagnosed medical problems that cause hypoglycemia are:
1. undiagnosed kidney disease
2. undiagnosed liver disease
3. insulin producing Tumors
Until you get a proper diagnosis of hypoglycemia and find out what is causing it as in the 3 medical problems listed above or a possible other medical problem all together, there is NOTHING you should do right now..... Do NOT change any diet or exercise program you are now on, but instead, make an appointment IMMEDIATELY for your doctor and go and get diagnosed....
Thank you, karen
