Mastitis & Cold Sore Management During Breastfeeding: Seeking Expert Advice

My wife is breast feeding,  He is experience Mastitis (sp).  She was given an antibiotic by her doctor and was recommneded she take the milk products that encourage friendly bacteria.  Now she has a sever cold soar breakout all over her mouth.  Should we discontinue the medicine or the milk or what would you suggest?  Thank you for your help so much.

Ask her doctor if she can take high potency B Complex like B-50 before breakfast and dinner to improve her resistance and 3000mg of omega 3 at the same times. Also ask her doctor if an Rx for Acyclovir 800mg four times a day would be helpful and clear the outbreak.
