Sharp Pain After Uterine & Ovarian Cyst Surgery: Potential Lung Complication?

hi i am stephanie from alabama i had surgery a week ago and i am doing fine after that i had the lining of my uteruse taken out and some cystes taken off my olveries ,, but my question is that i have a sharp pain in (well bellow my rib cage )and my lung has collapsed before i was just asking if that is what could be happening again i hurts when i breath deep in and when i bend over only on my right side i have been pain free from my surgery for 2 days but could this pain be related to that or could something else be going on and i am a 25 yr old white female smoker 2 packs a day thank you for your time

This could be from the lung. You may have developed an atalectasis (a small area of collapse) or small pneumonia. These are not uncommon after surgery, but deserve to be treated. I would mention this to your doctor and see if he or she would do a chest xray.
