QuestionHi Glen,
I've been in touch with you before but this is different than my last question. I started this new job Oct 1. For the entire month, I was sick. Finally, in the 3rd week, I took went to my doctor and demanded antibiotics which helped me get better. I had the flu or something very similiar to it. I was sick for almost the entire month.
Recently, in this first week of Dec, I am now sick again. This sickness is diffent in that I am coughing and my stomach hurts (nausea), I have a lot of phlegm which is effecting my breathing and my nose is clogged. Because my phlegm smells and tastes bad, I went to the doctor right away and he gave me the Z-pack (antiobiotics).
I'm 31 and am wondering why I've gotten sick twice in 2 months. Not just regular sick, sick to the point where I went to the doctor and can barely breathe in the morning? I don't know what the magic age is but I would figure that by age 31, I'd still be healthy and strong? Could this be my immune system failing me? How do I know if it is just someone's hand I shook or my immune system. I can tell you this, if now, at age 31, I'm barely able to complete a full day of work, how then when I'm 55 and get sick am I going to live?
I also smoke which doesn't help I know, but that fact alone cannot be the reason why I've gotten sick twice in two months.

Should be healthy at your age if you eat correctly and quit tobacco use.
Could this be my immune system failing me?
Yes, it can be.

Need to have your immune system checked and begin taking a multivitamin daily and B-100 b complex three times a day if OK with your doctors
