Coconut: Health Benefits, Risks & Nutritional Value

Does coconut,processed or unprocessed, have any health benefits, or should it be avoided?

Answer
Coconut is a good food, somewhat high in some fats, but in general is a healthy food.  There isn't any reason to avoid it unless you are allergic to it.  In general, people don't eat large amounts, usually small amounts as an add-in to cakes, etc.  But, no problems with it in general.
