Persistent Postpartum Fever: Causes and What to Do
QuestionI have been having constant fevers since I gave birth to my daughter in June. They range from about 100 to 102.4. My doctors thought it was my gald bladder, had surgery and it had quit working. Thought the fevers were gone and then popped up, about a week later they got worse. So I went back to the doctors and the second surgery they ended up taking most of my right ovary, because of a huge sist in it. This still hasn't stopped the fevers, and the other symptoms of having no energy and a constant pain in my belly and lower abdomen region. I am only 25 and have been perfectly healthy till now. My pregnancy was horrid, I had my daughter at eight and half months because of a case of severe preclampsia. Just curious what else would be a good idea to check, cuz I am tired of being tested.
Answercarrie;
well its hard to say,at this point. but i would think it would be a good idea to speak with your family about your family medical history. from parents,to grandparent. as far as they can go back. see if there is any underlining illnesses.
this could help,maybe give you some answers,as well;
