Understanding Recurrent Pulmonary Embolisms: Causes & Next Steps

Question
Can't seem to get an answer as to why I had multiple Pulmunary Embolisms. Had ultrasounds on legs and the results came back normal..no problems there. What could be some other possible reasons for developing many clots in lungs? I'm only 43 and have no apparent reasons for developing them? My doctor doesn't seem to concerned about it, but I sure am. Any advice as to what would be causing them to develop? My doctor says that I will stay on the warfarin for 6 months and then come off it for good. I am concerned that once I come off the warfarin I will develop them again since we have no idea of why I got them in the first place. My CT scan showed that I had multiple in the lower region of the lungs.

Thanks for the quick response. I shouldn't be developing more clots now that I am on Warfarin, is that correct?

-----Question-----
How long before PE's dissolve? Just recently found out I have them and after 12 days of Warfarin, and Lovenox, got my INR to 2.9, but I still feel tightness and pain through chest. Is this normal? I have no previous history, no injuries, no long trips, no swollen ankles or legs, not on birth control and don't smoke...I'm 43 and still have not found out why I got the PE's. Waiting for extensive blood tests to come back. Any advice for me would be great!
-----Answer-----
Usually takes 2-3 weeks to completely dissolve after your clotting tests are therapeutic.
-----Answer-----
Not as long as you work with your doctors to maintain a therapeutic warfarin level.

Answer
There are a number of things wrong, such as:
1) Too much omega-6 plant oil in your diet (corrected by taking 3000mg of omega-3 before each meal and at bedtime; PLUS stopping all chips, peanuts and peanut butter, chicken and turkey, granola and granola products, and flax),
2) B complex vitamin deficiency (corrected by taking B-100 before each meal and at bedtime),
3) Magnesium oxide deficiency (corrected by taking 250mg of magnesium oxide before each meal and at bedtime,
4) Calcium deficiency (corrected by taking calcium carbonate 500 mg with Vit D before dinner and at bedtime
5) Too much gluten in your diet causing bowel swelling and pressure on your iliac veins causing varicose veins and passive swelling in you legs (corrected with a gluten free diet)
6) Too much cholesterol in your system (corrected by adding 1/2 tsp of cinnamon in 1 TBS of applesauce before each meal or taking two 500mg cinnamon caps before each meal)
So check in with your doctor to see if you are getting peripheral vascular disease and if you need a 352mg enteric-coated aspirin daily especially after you stop the warfarin
