Growth Spurt Concerns: Understanding Your Son's Height & Potential

Hi My son is 15.8 years old and just about 5'5. He has grown about an inch in the past year. He took that bone test and the Dr stated that due to where his bones are for his age that he would only grow another inch. I am concerned that he would only be 5'6 or so. He was small birth wieght at 5 lbs and 18 1/2 inches long when he was born. I am 5 "3.5 and my ex is 5"10 man. At what point do you think my son will stop growing and is  he suitable for growth horomone therapy

he has probably gotten most of his height... hormonal therapy - human growth hormone - is a controversial treatment... it definitely works and would have to be done pretty quickly to get the benefit.  You can talk to your primary doc or an endocrinologist... some don't believe in it, some do, but that would be the only real option to get taller....
