QuestionLately, I've been feeling absolutely terrible. I'm completely exhausted all the time, even though I take Adderall for ADHD. I'm constantly nauseated, but still hungry. I have mild diarrhea with no pain or cramping. I also keep getting sores in my mouth. My iron is fine, all my bloodwork was normal as of 2 months ago, and my vitals are fine. I'm not in a high risk group for HIV, and I'm not pregnant, or at least not pregnant enough to show up on a test. I'm kind of wondering if I might have gotten some sort of parasite from my puppy. Any ideas?
AnswerInteresting theory.... the puppy parasites, but that usually doesn't cause many symptoms.
I would still focus on the GI tract.... a low level instestinal infection or could you be developing an inflammatory bowel disease (crohn's, ulcerative colitis)
In any event, sounds like you need a referral to GI and a workup for this.....
