QuestionHi! I'm not sure I'm in the right place, but I'm 34, 5'8", 150 lbs, moderately active (full time job & 3 kids). I have experienced, on 4 separate occasions in a matter of 3 weeks an episode of sorts... severe palpitations, extreme & uncontrollable tearing of the eyes, shaking, cotton mouth, unsteadiness, chest pain, choking sensation and brief paralysis lasting 10 - 15 minutes followed by extreme fatigue, nausea, vomiting and diarrhea lasting most of the next few hours. I have noticed that the palpitations only are increasing and occur more frequently while lying down and have awoke several mornings with a numbness (like my whole left side is asleep). I have been treated for a vitamin D deficiency and regularly take Vit D & B12....could these symptoms be due to that or should I be checked for MVP or Panic Attacks, or something along those lines....these episodes are becoming increasingly scary. Had I been driving a car today, instead of being in my office, I fear it would have been dangerous for more than just myself.
AnswerDear Heather,
Thank you for writing me and these symptoms sound very serious so much so that you need to have a doctor check you out immediately! So that is my advice go see a doctor as soon as you can and take care of yourself.
God Bless
