Will I Still Grow? Understanding Late Growth Spurts

Hello there,well I'm currently 16 years old and i am turning 17 at the beginning of next year.
I'm only 5'6 and i haven't had a major growth spurt since i was 13 or so. But the thing is that my dad is around 6 foot and im wondering why I am not as tall as him. Is there a possibility of me growing in the future?. And are there any others who have gone through the same thing and have grown.
A very close friend of mine who was previously my height also suddenly shot up to 6" at 14.

Hi Teenager,
Unfortunately at age 16 your bone growth has stopped.Your spine will continue to grow till your early twenties but that will only add about an inch to your height. You may have had smaller people in your family and those genes probably were passed on to you.
