Neck Pain & Hyoid Clicking After Abdominal Crunches: Seeking Advice

Hi, thank you so much for your info regarding if I broke my hyoid.  Quick question if you don't mind.  I hurt my neck some how doing abdominal crunches and I have the clicking in the upper neck upon swallowing and my jaw hurts as well as a popping periodically like cartilage running from near ear down side of throat. Could I have done serious damage by just doing abdominal crunches and straing my neck doing it.  It didn't really seem excessive or with force by any way.

good news.... if you did serious damage, you would hav had a lift threatening event.... but you easily could have strained/tore a little soft tissue and tht should heal... you might have a little clicking but the pain should subside in a couple weeks.....
