Understanding Mild Thyroid Disease: What You Need to Know

I ordered medical records regarding blood tests and x-rays.I found out by the report (not my doctor) that I have mild diffuse thyroid gland disease.

1) What does this mean?

2) Should I ask questions on my next doctor's visit?  Thank You

that is not enough specific information..... mild diffuse disease suggests you had a thyroid scan.  I would want to see all the thyroid blood tests... did you have antibody tests in addition the the TSH and T3/T4?  Did you have an ultrasound.  But mild diffuse disease doesn't clarify..... but those are the tests that would help specify what you have.
