QuestionWell here is my story. I had a total hysterectomy on Feb 7,2007. I have been getting really bad cramps and lower back pain that is also going into my legs. I am also getting alot of pulling feeling in part of my stmack. I have read some of my surgery reports and it said I had some adhesions. My questions is can I still get adhesions back after getting a hysterectomy. And does the pain I have sound like that is what I have.
AnswerGood Morning April
I have heard of women having the same pain you are experiencing after their hyst. You are still healing, too, so some tightness may be occurring also. Endo is a weird bird, you may have adhesions. Even after a hyst, endo may still exist in other parts/organs of your body. There newer research that supports this.
I am assuming that you have been to the doctor to have your followups? I would ask your doctor about these symptoms. And also, the healing process for a hyst is sometime longer for women, some up to a year or so.
The best bet would be to talk to your doctor...unfortunately, you can never put anything past the abilities of endometriosis...
Take care of yourself.
