Left Knee Pain After Soccer: Causes & When to Seek Help

Hi , My question is regarding some pain that I have on my left knee , I was playing soccer and After I finished playing , I got this pain on the right inner side of the knee , I have put bengay on it and massage it whenever I press the area it hurts , and when I walk I feel the pain not that bad.
Could it be just some sore muscle or joints/bones ? can I take some pill for the pain and rest the knee ?

Yes, it could be the ligaments on the medial side of the knee were sprained and ibuprofen or naprosyn should work if OK with your doctor. OK?
