Answer
There are several reasons why you may not be getting pregnant.  At this point, the best course of action would be to see your primary care doctor and have him or her run some tests to see where the problem lies. There could be a problem with either. More than likely, the doctor will refer you to a fertility specialist. The fertility doctor will check hormonal levels for you both and do an analysis of his semen for sperm count and other factors. In addition to providing you with more information about why you haven't gotten pregnant, these tests may uncover underlying problems that may be causing the problem (such as genetic abnormalities, problems with the reproductive system, thyroid disorders, etc.)

If there is a problem that cannot be fixed, your fertility doctor may also suggest other methods (such as in-vitro fertilization) to achieve pregnancy.

As for his sperm not being strong enough at that age, that is not true. =) Boys of middle school age CAN get girls pregnant. In fact, boys can get a girl pregnant as soon as they start puberty as this is when viable sperm starts being produced.

I wish you the best of luck. Please let me know if I can help you further or with anything else.

Best wishes,
Helen =)
