Postpartum Bleeding & Irregularities After C-Section & Depo Shot

Ok, I was just wondering how many women go through a lot of bleeding for about 8 months after the depo shot and then irregular, extra heavy clotting and bleeding every couple of weeks after that after a c section.  I have had 3 children.  My first 2 were boys, 9 lbs 3 ounces and 7 lbs 2 ounces, vaginal, no complications, easy recovery with all, now my daughter is a year old, breached c section delivery, I went on depo 6 weeks after birth and have been to 2 ob/gyns to see why I have been bleeding so much... I get light headed and my iron counts were low.  I too would like to have a 4th some day but I think that I soon will have to get my uterus removed if this doesnt stop. How long does it take for my body to be "normal" again? I have never had normal regular periods... I got pregnant with my daughter after over a year of not having one at all.  How would you know if the c section was done right if all doctors have told me everything looks good... and everything is on the inside and they have not looked at it?

I strongly recommend getting a second opinion. I am rather surprised no one has done an ultrasound on you to try to see first-hand if there are any abnormalities- bleeding that much for that long is definitely not normal. I highly recommend going to another clinic altogether, preferably one that specializes in endometrial issues.
