Postpartum Period Irregularities: What to Expect After Childbirth

I gave birth on May 13 and got my period on July 6. It has now been 34 days and I haven't gotten another period. I haven't been intimate with my husband since the day after my last period ended. Is this normal for someone who recently gave birth? Or am I in trouble?

It is very normal to have irregular cycles after giving birth.  Even if you are not breastfeeding, it can take several months for your cycles to fully regulate again.  If you are breastfeeding, you may not have regular cycles until after your baby weans.
