Postpartum Pelvic Pain After C-Section: Causes & Solutions
QuestionQUESTION: I have been having really bad pains in my pelvic area since I have had my daughter 7 months ago. Just last week I landed up in the ER because of these pains, the did you know the usual work up for a young woman in child bearing years, including the ultrasound. Everything came out clear so the Dr. in the ER has just suggested that it might be Endomitriosis. I think it has something to do with my C-Section, I was not closed up well parts of the section did not close properly & took longer to heal than other parts, so I can only imagine what was done on the inside....... Could it really be an Adhesion complication?
ANSWER: Alana,
Have you had a fever? Did your incision ever get infected?

QUESTION: No neither.... Just really bad scar tissue & where the part didn't heal right there is a big indent in my stomach now.
AnswerAlana,
It might be something as simple as your period is getting ready to start or you might even have fibroids. You should call your doctor to make an appointment. If you don't feel comfortable with your doctor maybe you can see his or her partner. I find it hard to believe that an ER doctor can diagnose endometriosis. You really need to see a doctor who specializes in OB. Sometimes adhesions can cause you pain, but if it was bad enough to take you to the ER, you should follow-up with an OB doctor. Good luck!
