C-Section Scar Pain During Pregnancy: Causes & When to Worry

Hello, I am 37 years old and 5 years ago, I had a c-section with my daughter.  I am now 21 weeks pregnant with my 2nd child and it seems as the child grows the more noticeable the pain is around and near my scar.  Is this normal or should I be worried?

It is fairly normal for a woman with a previous c-section to feel pain around her scar with subsequent pregnancies. However, if the pain gets worse of it continues to worry you, you may want to have your doctor check you out to put your mind at ease or address a problem (if there is one).
