Mucus Plug & Light Bleeding at 39 Weeks: What to Expect

hi...just wondering...im 39 weeks and 5 days pregnant. last night I had a thick brown and red mucus come out, which im assuming is the mucus plug. This morning I had pink coming out. is this normal? my baby is not that active and my stomach is really hard. should I go to the hospital. Im only having a little bit of cramping.

A little pink after losing your mucous plug is normal. If the baby stops moving entirely or if you start bleeding a lot, you need to go to the emergency room.
